Arrivé aujourd'hui en Belgique....

Orienteering Today est arrivé dans ma boite au Lettre ce matin ...
Il semble fort interressant avec beaucoup de cartes à diséquer.
Mais il n'est pas arrivé seul ! Avec une plaquette de O-Ringen fort belle et détaillé pour l'O-Ringen et les Etapes de Coupe du Monde de cet été...
Des vue des sites de courses et des extraits de carte fort interressant... les courses de Juillet risquent d'être plutôt physiques dans ces stations de ski !
A voir absolument...

Il est arrivé et c'est vraiment ce que j'attendais.
   
On y parle co sous toutes ses formes (O'Vtt, O-ski,élite et local, il ne manque que le O'trail)

Et en plus des conseils pour O'ringen cet été dans la brochure jointe.

Orienteering Today 2/08 is now finished and sent to printing.
The magazine will be posted within a few days.

This time we as usually have many exciting articles from all over the world. 10Mila is well covered. The maps from Martin Kronlund Trophy, MOC and Sandstone Easter will excite you. And there is a long and interesting article from ”Tour de Africa”. And much, much more….

You are all waiting for the next issue of Orienteering Today.



The last months have been quite turbulent for us who work with the magazine. Our editor and myself has been trying to establish a business model that we both can believe in and live with, and it is with great disappointment I have realized that this not has been possible.



When I first agreed to help saving Orienteering Today in 2006 I felt that the orienteering world needed a magazine like this. And after hard work and hard times we have published a magazine I feel we can be proud of.



I have during the last years put very much, both time and money, into Orienteering Today. But I have now come to a point where I not am able to spend more time on the magazine and I have to look for other solutions.



I therefore have started (and been working with for the last 14 days) a process to find new owners for Orienteering Today. I am quite optimistic and I believe the magazine will have new owners within short time. My first aim in this process is not to earn money on this, but to find a long term solution for the magazine. I hope to have finished this process within a month from now.



I will continuously keep you orientated about the situation and again I will say sorry for keeping you waiting.

PS! Our previous editor Geir Nilsen has yesterday published news on his homepage OPN. After my opinion this article does not correspond with the realties. I don’t feel it right of me to make any further comments on such an article.

L'argent de l'ASOPE pourrait servir utilement...

Je ne vois pas où je fais allusion dans mon message à un usage illicite de votre argent. Je ne sous-entend rien, par contre vous, vous allez l'air de ne penser qu'à ça ! Faudrait arrêter d'être paranoïaque !
Acheter un vélo à 1000 euros n'est pas une dépense utile dans la tête d'un grand nombre de personnes... et pourtant, vous n'êtes pas un malfrat si vous le faîtes !

Subventionner comme proposé dans un autre message l'équipe de france peut-être un acte de mécénat, subventionner un journal international de CO peut-être un autre type de mécénat.
Ils ont au moins eu le mérite de tenter l'aventure. Le business model d'un tel journal n'est donc toujours pas équilibré sans apport financier de mécène. C'est bien dommage !

Non, il est neuf, mais c'est juste le cadre et encore acheté sur Internet (y avait des "Fuji" vendu 800 euros au lieu de 2000)

Moi j'ai un cadre Vtt Streak'x(Scandium a 269Euros) du meme revendeur ,il est impec.

ca a l'air de s'améliorer
on va avoir un n° en novembre et un autre en decembre ;o)

There have been some hard work with Orienteering Today lately, but I am no happy to inform all our customers that there is close to 100% sure that the magazine will be alive the rest of this year and also next year.

‘

I am now in final negotiation to establish a new organization for the magazine.



I am quite sure we will publish both an issue 3/08 and an issue 4/08 this year.



Publishing schedule and more information will come within a week or two.

SPORT of TODAY

Le 3/08 est arrivé aujourd'hui en Belgique et il est plutôt pas mal. Ils prévoient le 4/08 en janvier(???) et 6 numéros en 2009.
C'est une bonne nouvelle si ils y arrivent...

chez moi, il est arrivé le 5/01. Cela va donc être dur d'avoir le n° 4 de 2008 en janvier. faudrait qu'ils l'envoient ces jours ci
